Tuesday NBA Betting Primer: Kings Keep it Rolling?Sacramento Kings @ Memphis Grizzlies (-1.5 | O/U: 234)
The 10-7 Grizzlies host the 9-6 Kings on Tuesday night, and it’s a shame that this game won’t be broadcast nationally. Sacramento started the season 0-4, and have been scorching ever since. Winners of six straight, the Kings look to redeem themselves after falling to Memphis 125-110 in the two teams’ previous matchup. Records aside, the Kings have been among bettors favorite teams this season. Sacramento boasts an NBA best 11-4 record ATS, and have gone Over their point total in their past six games.
As to the Grizzlies, their season has gone starkly different from a betting perspective. Despite their 10-7 record, the team has a putrid 6-10-1 record ATS. Memphis has been profitable when playing at home (5-2 ATS), but the team’s current injury report would require conviction to bet on the Grizz tonight. If G Ja Morant does indeed play, the team should be able to keep pace with the Kings, and news of his potential return has influenced both tonight’s spread, and point total.
In summation, much of the Kings’ recent success has come at home, and it is fair to be speculative as to whether or not their run can continue in Memphis. Further, the Grizzlies have been rather frustrating to bet on this season, but the team will surely level out at some point. If G Ja Morant does play, expect for this line to continue to move in Memphis’ direction, but would such line movement be justified?
