Wednesday NBA Free Bet: Portland Trail Blazers @ Memphis Grizzlies (-5.5 | O/U: 238)
The Grizz have been off their game lately, but this is an ideal time to back one of the NBA’s best teams. Memphis shook off a five game losing streak vs Indiana in their last outing, and should pick up right where they left off with three days rest under their belt.
This is an ideal matchup for the Grizzlies offense, and specifically Ja Morant. The Blazers rate 23rd in the NBA in defending the paint, and are especially bad at preventing attempts at the rim-- an element which Memphis G Ja Morant excels at. Even if Memphis doesn’t capitalize initially, we expect them to have plenty of opportunities for second-chance points: The Grizz rate second in Offensive Rebound Rate whereas the Blazers rate 20th in the NBA on the defensive glass.
